I think Philadelphia is learning what Chicago already knows: Arizona can’t keep a lead. Remember: “They are who we thought they were!”? If Arizona blows this they will be tying a record for the biggest comeback in Championship history. This team is only two years away from that heartbreaking loss. I know I watched it a bit late, but that Michael Phelps is a beast. He broke the world record in the 400m IM by about a second and a half. His strength and endurance are extraordinary. He exemplified form in all of his swimming strokes. When he bounces off walls, he stays under longer than everyone, and seems to get more out of each stroke. It seemed that he traveled further per stroke. It really looking effortless. This athlete is extraordinary in his concentration and strength. His form is very good, so he keeps himself focused on maintaining form; he’s smart. But physically he is a specimen. He is one of those rare athletes that is far better than every peer. Michael Jordan, Joe Montana, Ted Williams, Muhammad Ali, the list is short. But as far as swimming, Michael Phelps is the best. After seeing the race today, he’s far better than his peers.
Both these men are exhausted, but they fight like dogs. This fight attests to his endurance. The fight is about 10 minutes long, and Slice ends up losing the fight. Apparently Sean Gannon is the only person to beat Kimbo Slice. The fight itself is really brutal. These men fight until one can’t lift his arms anymore. There’s no rounds to save these guys’ energy. I couldn’t imagine the strength it takes to fight for 9-10 minutes straight. Take a look and see just how comparable to MMA it is. It looks like this is tougher…
